Top up your balance ($5 / $10 / $25 / $50, or a custom amount) via Stripe. The balance is money you've prepaid, held against future runs.
You add funds once. Every agent run debits its actual model cost plus a small service margin — nothing more. No monthly fee, no annual lock, no per-seat pricing. New accounts start with a $1.00 credit, no card required.

When you Generate, Rewrite, or run AI-detection, the agent reports its real provider cost. We multiply by your tier's margin and decrement your balance. One figure per run.
Within 14 days of a deposit you can refund the unused portion of your balance to your card. Self-service, no retention call. See the Refund Policy.
Your tier decides which model providers run your sensitive documents, and how much a run costs. You can change it mid-search — the balance is shared.
The per-CV figures are typical ranges, not caps — a real run's cost depends on document length and model output. Every run's exact cost is recorded in Settings → Statistics.
Each run's charge bundles the raw model cost with a margin (Low 1.4×, Medium 1.3×, High 1.25×). The margin covers hosting and runtime, EU VAT, support and refund processing, and provider price changes — so a small upstream price move doesn't change your per-run price.
A paid tier stays active while your balance is above its floor — $5 for Low, $10 for Medium, $25 for High. This keeps a run from starting that your balance can't cover.
Your in-flight run finishes, your balance is clamped at $0 (never negative), and your plan switches to Free until you top up and pick a paid tier again. No failed charge mid-generation.
Your balance is debited the moment an agent run begins, because that's when upstream model tokens are consumed — whether or not you keep the result. That's also why used balance isn't refundable; unused balance is.
Within 14 days of a deposit, refund your unused balance from Plan & Billing → Danger zone. Pro-rated by what you've used, up to four lifetime refunds. Full detail in the Refund Policy.
EU/EEA consumers keep the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal and can use the EU ODR platform. Where the statutory right gives you more than this policy, it wins.
